Hematology and Cancer Untold: Internship and Volunteer Program for High School and College Students: 

Being part of #teamHACU is an opportunity to passionately serve the community and also enhance your high school and college experience with real life hands on opportunities that prepare you for entry into the workforce. 

  • We are a team of remote volunteers and flexible schedules. 

  • Attendance at specific meeting / events may be required. (Meetings are virtually hosted via zoom)

  • All internships are unpaid.  All internships run for a minimum of 10 weeks. 

  • All volunteers are unpaid. 

Internship sessions are available throughout the year.

Our current openings are for one of the following areas: 

  • Grants and public policy  (college students only)

  • Social Media Marketing and Communications

  • Creative Design (You will be taught how to use Canva)

  • Information Management and data entry 

  • Fundraising

  • Special-event planning

To Qualify, Applicants must:  

  • Exhibit initiative and enthusiasm about community service

  • Be computer savvy and fluent with Microsoft office programs  

  • Have access to a computer for remote work/communication with the team
